Kindergartners come together for Sundaes with Smiles

Kindergarten students in the Sandy Creek Central School District came together the week before opening day of school for an opportunity to find their classrooms, meet their classmates, teachers and principal, and on top of all that, they could enjoy a delicious sundae with all of the fixings...

Vehicle traffic was contained to the elementary parking lot for student drop off on opening day of school. Students were able to exit their buses safely without worry of nearby cars dropping off students at the side entrance to the school. A grass median was installed to further divide the two spaces and staff were on hand to direct vehicles into the parking lot for drop off.
