John DeGone - Head Coach
robotics@sccs.cnyric.orgMr. DeGone has been a 7-12 Technology Education teacher at the Sandy Creek school district since 2013. Mr. DeGone is passionate about robotics and robotics education. He started the high school robotics program in 2015 as a classroom curriculum. Since then he has grown the program to also offer middle and high school robotics education to the students of SCCS. Mr. DeGone also started the Sandy Creek extracurricular VEX robotics competition team [Co.R.E.] in 2015 and has coached many competition teams since.
Andrew Olin - Mentor
robotics@sccs.cnyric.orgMeet Andrew, a proud SCCS Robotics Alumni, returning to his roots to inspire the next generation of innovators. With a wealth of knowledge in robot design and expert coding skills in Python, Andrew is eager to share his passion for technology and engineering with current students. His mentorship will not only equip them with practical skills but also ignite their creativity and problem-solving abilities.

Charles Worden - Mentor
robotics@sccs.cnyric.orgMr. Worden volunteers his time when he can. He focuses mostly on helping students with the programming part of robotics, since he works in the technology department. Mr. Worden has been helping out the team since 2017.
