Legal Notice
Having received the warrant for the school taxes for the Sandy Creek Central School District, the following schedule will be in effect: There will be no penalty for taxes paid September 1 - September 30, 2024. 2% penalty from October 1 - October 31, 2024. The school district will collect no taxes after October 31, 2024. Postmark must correspond with accepting dates on mail items. Mail payments to: School Tax Collector, Pathfinder Bank, PO Box 33, 1897 Harwood Dr., Lacona, NY 13083. Collector’s schedule: Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. No weekend or holiday collection. Taxes not paid by October 31, 2024 will be re-levied by the county and added to the 2025 County and Town land taxes.
Taxpayers either 65 years of age or older or disabled and own and occupy a 1, 2, or 3 family residence, may designate a consenting adult third party to receive duplicate copies of their tax bills and notice of unpaid taxes until further notice. Applications may be obtained in person from the County Real Property Tax Service, or by mail, if you include with your request a self-addressed, stamped envelope. Applications for third party notifications must be filed with Oswego County.
