Comet Pride is Community-wide!Balance

Many students in their high school year have a lot of responsibilities both at home and school. Some may also have to hold a job. There are kids that start to think that everything is building up to be too much or that life is too complicated. They say stress if for the old, but this is proven incorrect every day. There are young people that are tasked with responsibilities equivalent to an adult. They are the kids that need structure and balance the most in order to keep themselves from completely shattering. Along with trying to turn in your that assignment on time or keep your family family happy, there needs to be time for everything else that goes on in your life. There needs to be time that can be spent in peace away from everything. If that time is lost, stress may take control and can possibly harm your body. But how are we supposed to do this? It is not like we can just extend the length of the day? There really is not a perfect or right way to organize yourself. As long as you do not feel that everything in your life is looming over your shoulders or weighing you down, you should have a balanced lifestyle. However, here are some tips to maintaining a strong mental and physical life.
Make/Take the time for yourself
Make use of your time for the important things
A healthy diet and exercise routine will improve your mood
Get lots of rest-more than 8 hours is ideal
Organize your work whether papers, files, or just your daily tasks
