Modified Wrestling

The Sandy Creek Modified Wrestling team had a very successful season this year. The team consisted of a mixture of 7th to 9th graders. There were experienced returners: Austin King, Jason Lance, and Ryan Robbins, along with some outstanding 7th graders; Evan Allen, Carl Petrie, Seth Pearsall, Justin Thayer and Matthew Fox. The team also had some newcomers to the sport that were also very pivotal to the teams success: Hunter Auruelo, Sean Tritten, Christian Guervera, Ibu Diatta, and Trayton Mullin. Coach Halsey says that, "The team had many incredible matches and amazing successes during the season, and the future is bright for the Varsity Wrestling Team as these young men grow and mature into tremendous wrestlers."
