Varsity Boys Baseball

Varsity Boys Baseball is coached by Bill Benedict and he has eleven players all in grades 10-12. The players in tenth grade are Logan Haynes, Dakota Loomis, and Kaleb Brown. Eleventh grade players are Joe Benedict, Chris Blount, and Dylan Kimball. Twelth grade players are Mike Garvin, Matt Guarasce, Jakob Kuehl, John McGrew, and Tryston Welch. Their season this year has accelerated and they are working together and learning more than what they knew last year.
So far this season they have a record of 4-4. Each boy plays a position. Outfield is Mike, Jakob, Tryston, Chris, and Dakota. First base is Joe, second base is John, and third base is Kaleb. Catcher is Dylan and short stop is Matt and Logan. Pitcher is Matt, John, Joe, Dylan, Kaleb, and Logan. Their losses are South Lewis 4-0, Lafarge Ville 7-1, Lowville 6-0, and Thousand Islands 10-7. Their team has put tremendous effort towards working together as a whole this year and they are trying to be better and participate more.
Their wins are Sackets Harbor 13-7, Alex Bay 2-1, Belleville Henderson 19-1, Copenhagen 8-2. At the Sackets Harbor game Logan had three hits, Joe had three hits, Matt was winning pitcher, and Chris was single and double. At the Alex Bay game there were 8 innings with John pitching complete game and driving in the winning runs. Matt scored both runs. At the Belleville Henderson game Matt scored four runs, John scored three runs, Dylan had three hits, Logan pitched three innings having six kills and being the winning pitcher, and Kaleb pitched two innings and had five kills. At the Copenhagen game John scored three runs, Logan had three hits, and Joe had a double and triple and winning pitcher. Joe also pitched five innings with fifteen kills and no runs.
