What made you want to become a teacher?
At first, I wanted to be a veterinarian. Then I decided it wasn't for me. I really like school, studying, and talking to others.

What other countries have you been to?
Jamaica, Costa Rica, Scotland, England, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, and Canada.

Where else would you go if you had the chance?
Everywhere, but my top picks would be Australia, Ecuador, and Guatemala.

If you could have any other job, what would it be?
A bus driver, taxi driver, or a landscaper.

What interests you about the Spanish culture?
The people in general. I also like learning about their customs, eating their food, and listening to their music.

When did you start teaching?
I started at Sandy Creek in 2006. Before that I was a TA at Syracuse.

What high school did you go to?
Lowville

What college did you go to?
Potsdam and Syracuse University.

What did you do before you were a teacher?
I worked in lawn care, 4H education, and I was a tutor.

What sports/clubs were you involved in?
Any club you could imagine, but I played soccer and ran track in high school. In college, I ran XC and was on the equestrian team.

What was it like to study abroad?
It was amazing, but also hard to understand how everything worked. I couldn't figure out simple things, like a payphone. I had to start everything over. I think everyone should do it. I didn't want to come home.

What's your favorite movie?
Elf
What's your favorite food?
Pastries
