Advice

I would like to congratulate all of you for your upcoming graduation from Sandy Creek Central School. Though I have only been here for one year, I can tell you that your class has set a very positive tone for this school district. Many of you have been involved in a variety of activities and have taken advantage of everything we have to offer. I can tell you that the atmosphere in this building is warm, enthusiastic, and respectful. You have helped create that environment and you should be proud of that.
I am not one to offer a ton of advice but there are a few things that I truly believe all citizens should strive to focus on in life.
1. Work hard and be persistent. I have been around long enough to know that hard work pays off.
2. Continue to learn. Regardless of whether or not it has anything to do with your job of choice, it is important to stretch your understanding and to push yourself to try new things. Do not be afraid to fail. Give it a shot and do your best.
3. Most importantly, I believe it is imperative to be a good person and to give back to those in need. As a wise man once saidnn.."After all this is over, all that will matter is how we treated each other."
Congratulations and thank you for all you did for the SCCS community. Good luck to you in the future.

Mr. Faulkner
