Modified Cross Country

Cross country is not for the faint of heart. It takes hard work and dedication.
Led by coach Haley Grant, the modified cross country has executed an amazing season this fall. With only two returning 8th graders, Hailey McNitt and Cailey Robbins, we have welcomed new runners Nick Huckabone, Mary Carnes, Abby Chen, Kaleigh Doyle, Claire Driebelbis, Lily Kohlback, Emma Halsey, Caitlin Hobbs, Candice Francisco, Gracie Griffiths, and manager Mary White.
"The entire team has shown improvements in their running ability and endurance. It has always been a goal for the team to help our young runners see to potential this sport has to be a lifetime healthy habit. I am excited for this team as they prepare for their final invitational of the season in Booneville and to see their running careers continue throughout their middle and high school years." Says coach Haley Grant.
The varsity has set great examples for our new runners all season. When top modified runner and only boy Nick Huckabone was asked his motivation this cross country season, he replied, "Captain Nic Potter is my inspiration for running." Good luck on the rest of your season!
