Modified Girls Soccer

January 28th, 2018 by Annie Chen

The Sandy Creek modified girls soccer team displayed their enthusiasm for soccer in every game of this season. They communicated throughout the game and tried their best every time. This type of attitude is what makes you a better athlete. Keep going girls!
The team just played their last game on October 27th and won 2-1. They had an unsuccessful season, but many 7th graders said that wanted to come back next year. Many 8th graders are excited for move up next year.
This year, many were first-time soccer players. With such an young team, the girls have shown great improvements throughout the season. There were many returning 8th graders who demonstrated teamwork and commitment to the incoming 7th graders. When asking Coach Caitlin White what she's looking forward to next season, she said, "I look forward to continuing to watch the 7th graders grow next year and look forward to the incoming 6th graders!"
