The Sandy Creek boys Wrestling team had a very successful season, which was coached by Kevin Halsey. I interviewed Coach Halsey and he said, " It was a very successful year, each player won a handful of matches and some exceeded expectations". The team started with 12 players and finished strong with the same 12.
The Sandy Creek boys wrestling team consists of Evan Allen, Hunter Aurelio, Sawyer Belaus, Ibrahima Diatta, Mathew Fox, Travis Halsey, Jason Lance, Reegan Macklen, Seth Pearsall, Carl Petrie, Justin Thayer, Sean Tritten, and Luke Yerdon. I spoke to Jason Lance and he said, "It was really entertaining to do and I learned a lot". I also spoke to several other players and they said they all enjoyed the season.
