Boys basketball had a pretty good season. The boys were coached by Jim Hunt. I spoke with Mason Ennist and asked him a few questions. I asked him to tell me about the season and any challenges that the team faced. Along with why he plays basketball, how long he's played for and why someone else should play. Mason replied with Well our season didn't go exactly how we wanted, but overall was fun. We played hard every game and always hustled. Multiple people got covid throughout the season which messed us up practice and game wise. I personally play basketball because it is a lot of fun and clears my mind. It brings competition and a chance to compete against others. Others should play for fun or even just for exercise and a way to stay in shape. I have been playing for fun since I can remember but on a team competitive since 2nd grade. Mason is a junior and has been playing on varsity since 8th grade. He plays the positions of forward and guard. He's a three sport athlete who plays football, basketball and baseball. The boys are always determined to catch a dub and are fun to watch.
