Girls Basketball

The Sandy Creek Girls Varsity Basketball team had a tough but outstanding season this year. Head coach Michelle Shirley and Jimmy Dowlearn put their own personal time into helping these girls become amazing athletes and role models for younger girls to look up to. Baylee Williams, Haidyn Soluri, Addison Petrie, Rylee McNitt, Ceanna Reff, Madison Darling, and Crystal Harlem were the players on the 2022-2023 team. The girls had a record of 11-10 and were the Frontier League Regular Season champions. Some girls who were noticeable All Stars were 10th grader Madison Darling, junior Rylee McNitt and 9th grader Baylee Williams. After a season of hard work the girls preserved and set aspirations for the younger girls in the basketball program and showed how women can have athletic mindsets and accomplishments .
