Girls Basketball

The varsity girls basketball team struggled through an unsuccessful season this year. However, with the help of volunteer assistant coach, Mr. McDougal, Mrs. Shirley was able to develop skills in the younger players, in hopes that the next few seasons will be much more competitive. This year, the team will lose two seniors, leaving the team with several underclassmen. The members of the varsity team are: Riley Dowlearn [8], Angel Peter [8], Logan Strong [8], Marley Yerdon [8], Kyrsten Hall [Freshman], Kacey Goodsell [Sophomore], Karina Hunter [Sophomore], Autumn Irwin [Junior], Captain Rosie Morgan [Senior] and Captain Kasey Yerdon [Senior]. Senior Brigid McClusky was their scorekeeper for the season.
The modified girls team has grown immensely this year, allowing them to put two teams on the court. The 7th grade team is coached by Mr. McDougal and the 8th and 9th grade team is coached by Mrs. Trudell. The girls are working well together as they prepare for their season. The members of the 7th grade team are: C.J. Barney, Sydney Burgy, Catie Ann Blodgett, Annie Chen, Ashley Cornell, Elsa Graf, Hailey Miller, Alyssa Rudd and Hailey Thurston. The members of Mrs. Trudell's team are: Jazmyn Baker [7], Brittany Davis [9], Crystal King [9], Sadie Lurcock [8], Samantha Ranieri [7], Brittney Sherman [7], Skylar Skellington [8], Brooke Snedeker [8], Kerigan Trudell [7], and Taylor Webb [8].
