Morning
If you are interested in joining Color Guard, please sign up on the sheet outside Ms. Santiago's room 2610. No experience needed. Everybody's welcome. Our first practice is next Tuesday, March 3rd from 6-8pm at the indoor track. If you have any questions, see Ms. Santiago in room 2610.
Attention all middle school students: The winter semi-formal is this Saturday from 6-8:30. Admission is $5 there will be food available for purchase. Dress to impress and come have a great time with your friends. This is for Sandy Creek students grades 6-8 only. You must be in school on Friday to be eligible to attend and spend no more than one period in ISS this week. See you there!
Varsity and Junior Varsity Baseball Players- There will be a meeting in Mr.. Archibee's room on Tuesday 3/3 at 3:15 for all participants. Please get signed up and plan on attending.
JV and Varsity Softball Players: There will be a meeting after school on Monday March 2nd for all girls playing JV or Varsity softball in Mrs. Soluri's room. Please get signed up and plan to attend.
National Chocolate-Covered Nut Day on February 25th recognizes the delicious and crunchy snack drizzled, covered, dunked, or smothered in chocolate. Your possibilities are endless and are sure to drive you nuts deciding which combination you will choose!
Tomorrow will be club and group picture day in the Elementary Commons Area. Please follow the schedule that will be provided in the morning.

The 2026 Comet Marching Band season is about to begin. We are looking for band Members grades 7- 12 and Guard members grades 6-12. Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, March 3rd at 6pm in the band room. Sign-ups for the band and guard are located outside the band room and Ms. Santiago's classroom.
Congratulations to Brady Ashby Section 3 Champion and Dylan Ashby for a strong showing in Nordic Skiing at the State Championship at Bristol Mt.. Brady finished 23rd despite a fall in the distance race and 15th in the sprint relay, competing against the top 48 Nordic skiers in the state. The next competition will be at the Eastern High School Championship at Gore Mt.
