Elementary Daily Announcements for Thursday March 5th, 2026

Sandy Creek Drama Club invites you to join us on a journey into Russia in the early 1900's and then we will take a train ride to Paris in the year 1927. Anastasia, Dmitry and Vlad will be your tour guides on this amazing musical adventure which will take place on March 13th at 7pm and March 14th at 2pm at the Sandy Creek Auditorium. Presale tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. They will be sold during lunch on Weds., Thurs. and Friday this week and early next week as well.

National Cheese Doodle Day on March 5th marks an annual celebration where fingers turn a cheesy orange as we snack on these flavorful treats! Found all across the country, these cheddar cheese-coated snacks come in puffed or crunchy, fried or baked. Their crunchy, orange deliciousness is enjoyed around the world!

Yesterday, the Sandy Creek Robotics T team competed at the NNYS VEX Robotics Push Back Championship finishing 14th in qualifications and were selected by Chittenango as the 4th seed alliance. Together, they battled all the way to the semifinals before being knocked out by the 1st seed. We’re so proud of how our team competed and represented Sandy Creek! Can’t wait for next season!
