In the near future, parents in the Sandy Creek Central School District will be receiving a letter from Mr. Faulkner regarding your participation in a survey being conducted by Fort Drum.

The strength of area educational systems is one factor used by Pentagon leaders in decisions regarding base closures and troop levels in areas around the country. If you received a letter and have a student enrolled in the Sandy Creek Central School District, we ask that you take the five to ten minutes necessary to complete the survey.

Fort Drum is one of only five military bases located in NYS and is responsible for aiding and planning mobilization of nearly 80,000 troops annually and is one of the leading forces in the war against terrorism. Fort Drum actively supports active duty and reservist soldiers, but it also employs a large number of civilians.

Military and non-military families completing the survey will provide necessary feedback to help support the stability of Fort Drum. Please take time to complete the survey as soon as possible. All completed survey participants will be entered into a random drawing to receive a $25 gift card from your selection of Amazon, Walmart and Dunkin Donuts.
