Students and volunteers “Clean the Creek” for Earth Day

On a beautiful sunny day, students and volunteers grabbed rakes, gloves, and bags to celebrate Earth Day in the annual “Clean the Creek.” The teams fanned out across the communities of Sandy Creek and Lacona to pick up trash and other debris to help beautify the villages. Pictured are some of the volunteers as they organized for the event coordinated by the STEM Science Adventure Club and sponsored by local businesses and individuals.
