8/24/26 - The District is inviting the submission of Request for Proposals for snow plowing and/or removal at the Sandy Creek Central School District for the 2026-2029 Winter Seasons. Proposals will be accepted until noon on the 17th day of September, 2026 at the District Clerk's Office. Anyone with questions, or to view the area can contact Andy Ridgeway at the District Office at 315-387-3445 ext. 1510.

Definitions

Bullying is aggressive behavior that is intentional and involves an imbalance of power or strength.  It is a repeated behavior and can be physical, verbal, or relational.

Cyberbullying is bullying that happens online and via cell phones.  Websites like Facebook, MySpace, Tumblr and Formspring allow kids to send hurtful, ongoing messages to other children 24 hours a day.  Some sites, such as Tumblr and Formspring, allow messages to be left anonymously.

Sexual Harassment is unwanted and unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature that interferes with the right to receive an equal educational opportunity.  Sexually harassing behaviors that can interfere with one's educational opportunity range from words (written and spoken) and gestures to unwanted physical contact.

Hazing is the practice of playing unpleasant tricks on someone, or forcing someone, to do unpleasant things; an initiation process involving harassment.
