Below is a letter from Sandy Creek Elementary Principal Mr. Filiatrault regarding Parent-Teacher Conferences scheduled for Nov. 19 and 20.

Dear Parents and/or Guardians,

In light of the recent increase of Covid-19 cases in Oswego county and the surrounding areas, we have decided to make changes to our Parent-Teacher conferences next week. Conferences will still take place on Thursday, Nov. 19 and Friday, Nov. 20 at your scheduled times, however we will not be having conferences in person. Teachers will call you at your scheduled time to hold a phone conference about his/her report card.

Please look for your child's report card when it comes home in their backpack on Thursday, Nov. 19. All report cards for remote students will be mailed home early next week so they arrive before your conference.

Please be sure to provide your child's teacher with a good phone number to reach you, if its different than the one we currently have listed for you in SchoolTool. We greatly appreciate everyone signing up for conference times as quickly as you did using the new Parent Square app. I hope that you are finding it a useful communication tool also.

Again, we will not be holding in person conferences next week, all conferences will be over the phone at your scheduled times. If you have any further questions, please call our office at 315-387-3445 ext. 1110 or send a message to your child's teacher using Parent Square.
