Sandy Creek Elementary School will be conducting walk-in registration for 2021-22 kindergarten and pre-K on Monday, Feb. 8 and Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The child you are registering does not need to be present during the walk-in hours.

Below is an outline of needs and information for each class registration.

Kindergarten
Incoming kindergarten candidates must be five years old on or before Dec. 1, 2021.

Parents/guardians must provide proof of birth and shot record for their child. Students and parents/guardians must be residents of the district. Proof of residency or custody may be necessary if there is a question.

The kindergarten registration document is available via the following link: https://www.sandycreekcsd.org/parents/registration

Registration documents may also be picked up at the Sandy Creek Elementary School main office any time starting on Feb. 1 during regular business hours (8 a.m. to 3 p.m.). Registration packets may also be completed at school during the walk-in registration sessions.

Registrations are not official until all forms are completed and a valid proof of birth is included. Other records required are immunization records, custody papers and proof of residency, if needed.

Students that register for kindergarten will be screened at a later date. More details regarding screening will follow when available.

Pre-Kindergarten

Please note, transportation for the pre-K program will not be provided by the district.

If the district exceeds the maximum number of students allowed at the end of the walk-in registration day on Tuesday, Feb. 9, all candidates will enter a lottery and the first names drawn are those chosen to participate. If there are fewer than the maximum number of students registered, all candidates can participate from the start. A waiting list will be established if the district exceeds the maximum number of students allowed after the registration date.

Mandatory pre-K screening will be held at a later date and your child must attend to hold his or her slot. More details regarding screening will follow when they are available.
