Sandy Creek's orientation and first day brings smiles, hugs and reconnection

The Sandy Creek Central School District welcomed students and families back in early September with orientation sessions and a fun-filled first day of school.
Orientation was held the evening before school began. Families gathered to drop off supplies, meet teachers and explore classrooms. Popsicles provided by the Sandy Creek Parent Group added a fun, refreshing touch to the evening.
The next morning, the campus buzzed with excitement as students arrived for the first official day. Laughter echoed through the halls and hugs were shared as classmates reunited and staff greeted students at the doors.
The eventful start set a positive tone for the year ahead. With the support of families, staff, and the wider community, Sandy Creek is ready for a year of learning and growth.
