Jared Campbell Brings Music and Motivation to Sandy Creek Elementary

Sandy Creek Elementary students were recently treated to a high-energy visit from singer-songwriter Jared Campbell.
Known for his inspirational music and work with schools across central New York, Campbell led an interactive concert filled with singing, clapping and positive messages. He even performed his new song, Legos, which uses building blocks as a metaphor for resilience, creativity and learning from mistakes. Students were encouraged to join in, making the performance both fun and meaningful.
Campbell also shared exciting news: Sandy Creek students will help create an original song for the school all about being good Comets, inspired by the schools positive behavior program.
I had a little conversation with your principal and with Mrs. Hobbs, Campbell told the students. We thought it would be a really cool thing if I wrote a special song just for Sandy Creek. When we do this song, we are going to need some singers on this song to sing all about what it means to be a good Comet!
The collaborative project is expected to involve student input and participation, with plans to release the song sometime next year.
