Sandy Creek Seniors Shine on WPBS-TV's Whiz Quiz

The Sandy Creek Central School District is proud to recognize its senior Whiz Quiz team for being featured in a recent episode of Whiz Quiz on WPBS-TV. The team, made up of seniors Brody Pecha, Leia Wall, Haidyn Soluri and Simon Preston, represented Sandy Creek with enthusiasm, teamwork and academic excellence in their competition against Watertown City School District.
This was an amazing win for Sandy Creek, said Whiz Quiz advisor Christina Hunt. I am so proud of this group of students who worked extremely hard for this win.
Whiz Quiz, produced by WPBS-TV, highlights student teams from schools across the North Country as they showcase their knowledge and school spirit in friendly academic competition. The long-running program features high school teams answering questions on a wide range of topics including history, science, literature, mathematics, current events, and general knowledge,
celebrating learning and teamwork across the region.
