Pre-K class makes holiday cards for the troops

Students in the pre-K class make cards for the troops.

Students in the pre-K class painted cards for troops who cannot spend the holiday season with their families.

During a couple of classes recently, students worked with teacher aide Ellie Manwaring to craft and create the cards, which featured trees and decorations.

The cards went to state Sen. Patty Ritchie's office as part of its initiative to get cards to service members that are overseas.

Each card also came with a note thanking the recipient for their service.
