Featuring students from grades five through senior in high school, the Sandy Creek chorus department presented its annual concert recently.

The concert, which was held Dec. 11 in the high school auditorium, saw hundreds of families, friends and community members pack in to hear the sounds of the season.

The fifth grade chorus opened the show with the traditional classic We Wish You A Merry Christmas before student instrumentalists used bells and rhythm instruments during Carol of the Elves.

The sixth-grade chorus sang a rendition of Grandmas Killer Fruitcake that kept the audience laughing, featuring soloist Brody Pecha.

The Middle School Chorus sang the popular Feliz Navidad before a medley from the movie Nightmare Before Christmas.

The High School Mixed Chorus kept the holiday spirit high with Believe from The Polar Express and closed with the traditional Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.

To end the show, the 5-12 mixed chorus shared the stage and sang a medley of five holiday songs, which was met with thunderous applause for the students.

The choruses were directed by Jackie Hobbs and Sandy Machuga. William Verity and Peggy Sawchuck were featured as accompanists during the performance.
