Watch 2020 Commencement, view photo galleries from the big day

Pictured on graduation day is a look at the drive-thru ceremony and stage that the Sandy Creek Class of 2020 crossed.

Sandy Creek Central School District celebrated 2020 commencement on Saturday, June 27 in the morning with a drive-thru ceremony.

Each student in attendance crossed a stage to receive their diploma from either Mr. Faulkner or Mr. Seymour and officially graduated while family members had the opportunity to take photos. Then, they got back in their vehicle and the next graduate's family drove up.

In addition to speeches from Mr. Faulkner and Mr. Seymour, the live-streamed event also heard from class Valedictorian Madison Brown and Salutatorian Marley Yerdon.

After each student had the opportunity to sign the Class of 2020 banner, the vehicles paraded through the villages of Sandy Creek and Lacona with community members out to cheer them on.
