HS/MS Daily Announcements for Monday January 13th, 2025

Morning
Congratulations to the Ashby boys, they had great day of racing in section 3 competition in Boonville Saturday. Dylan got 1st in modified race and Brady got first in the varsity race. Great job boys!
The JV Volleyball Team played hard and beat Faith Heritage Saturday 3-0. Georie Pollick had 14 assists and 8 aces and Peyton Clark added 5 aces and 8 kills. McKenna Montieth had 9 digs and Leili Wall chipped in 3 kills and 3 digs. The Varsity Volleyball Team ran a faced paced offense backed up by intense defensive play to beat Faith Heritage 3-1 Saturday. Maddie Coe fuelled the Comets with 22 digs while Sophia Young and Maiya Owen put up a HUGE WALL to create 9 blocks of their opponents. Mikayla Glazier with prowess racked up 25 assists and Phoenicia Hathway added 12 kills. Destiny Urqhart and Cyprus Liszewski added 5 kills a piece to aid in the fantastic win over Fath Heritage. Excellent job TEAMS!!! Practice today 3-6.
Drama Club meeting today during HS COMET. All members who are not part of the cast and drama club secretary need to attend.
Show choir has rehearsal tonight from 6-7.

Afternoon
The Girls and Boys Varsity Basketball games have been postponed to this Thursday. The Varsity Wrestling match today will now be at 5:00.
All modified Boys Basketball players meet at the gym lobby after school today.
