2022 Cross Country

The 2022 Varsity Cross Country team was coached by Coach King. The long, grueling season began in mid-August and officially ended at the beginning of November. During the season, every athlete on the team worked to the best of their abilities and were able to improve drastically when compared to the first day of practice. Lots of memories were made and everyone had fun. This year, the members of the girls varsity consist of Abagail Balcom (10), Katerena Bartlett (9), Captain Abby Chen (12), Captain Perle Convey (11), Olivia Euler (10), Sara Leppien (10), Abrielle Soluri (12), and Mary White (11). The boys varsity team is made up of Kenneth Burd (12), Ryan Jiles (9), Connor Rogers (11), and Peyton Smouse (11). A big shout-out to the manager of the team, Allyson Mulpagano (11). There is not an official favorite race, but it was decided that the least favorite race was Sectional at VVS. All in all, everyone enjoyed the season and are prepared to take on the next season.
