Wrestling is not your average sport, it takes a lot of skill, time, dedication and effort to partake in this sport. You have to maintain a certain weight and go through rigorous training to do so. Wrestling is a very physically and mentally challenging sport, if you take it seriously it can be one of the most excruciating sports. The Sandy Creek JV and Varsity teams combined with South Jefferson's JV and Varsity team this year to make the SJSC JV and Varsity wrestling team. Meanwhile Sandy Creek had their own Modified team. The modified team consisted of 6 wrestlers for the 22-23 season. Brady Thomas, Brodi Martin, Ian Ward, Matthew Totten, Gauge Ward, Chase Smith, and the coach, Bill Benedict. The JV and Varsity team for the 22-23 season consisted of Sawyer Belaus, Reegan Macklen, Travis Montone, Parker Kohlback, Aaron Grafton, Carter Hammond, Jayden Guile, Ryan Jiles and Brandon Fox, And the coach, Mr.Connors. The modified team attended
