Spotlight in the media: Senior Dowlearn featured on NNY360 cover photo

Riley Dowlearn, a senior on the Sandy Creek varsity girls basketball team, has been featured in a recent article on NNY360.com.

Dowlearn, who is in her fifth season and is the only senior on the varsity team, has helped lead the Comets to a strong start to its basketball season.

As of the article being published, Dowlearn led the team in points per game and rebounding.

Last season, when Dowlearn also led the team in scoring, the Comets finished with their best record in a decade and an appearance in the sectional playoffs. This year, Dowlearn and the Comets have already surpassed that win total and are focusing on earning a home playoff game.
