Sandy Creek kicked off homecoming week with high energy during separate pep rallies for middle and high school students in the gym.

The middle school rally started the day with a jumping competition between students and cheerleaders. One student brought the crowd to its feet with an impressive flip. The cheerleaders gave a strong performance, leading chants and boosting the excitement. The Comet mascot made an appearance, adding to the fun and helping build school spirit.

Later, high school students filled the gym for their rally, which featured tug-of-war, a push-up contest and a bleacher decorating competition. Each class chose a unique theme for their section, with the seniors taking first place. The cheerleaders performed again, delivering another spirited routine.

Both rallies were packed with loud cheers, music and plenty of school pride. Students kept the energy high throughout the day, showing off their Comet spirit.

A student pie-in-the-face celebration followed the rallies, with volunteers taking whipped cream pies to the face as their classmates cheered them on.
In the afternoon, junior and senior girls faced off in the traditional powderpuff football game. The friendly rivalry brought students together once again to celebrate and compete.

The pep rallies set the stage for the rest of homecoming week, which included a Friday night football game and the annual homecoming dance.
Sandy Creeks fall traditions continue to unite students and showcase what it means to be a Comet.
