‘Comet Crushers’ mixes learning and social skills for Sandy Creek 5th graders

Lucky students find golden tickets with lunch

A number of Sandy Creek students were the lucky finders of golden tickets in school lunches! The golden tickets were placed inside pre-packed meals to encourage students to support school meals and order school lunches instead of bringing them home, according to the food services team who ran the promotion. Drama Club production set to stream 5/26 at 7 p.m. virtually

The Sandy Creek High School Drama Club will on May 26 stream its performance of Mirror, Mirror, On the Wall (A Fractured Fairy Tale) by Brian D. Taylor (Pioneer Drama Service). 'A-moo-sing' virtual field trip takes 2nd grade to dairy farm

Sandy Creek second-grade students got a little taste of local agriculture with a virtual field trip courtesy of the Oswego County Agriculture Literacy Week and Cornell Cooperative Extension. Library accepts donation used for new books

The Sandy Creek Central School District's library accepted a large donation that was used to purchase new books that will go into circulation for all students. Watertown's Massey's Furniture Barn donated more than $9,000 total worth of books to Sandy Creek and other area school districts through its Bucks for Books program.
