Recipients of the ‘Leadership Award,’ presented by Sandy Creek Elementary School Principal Tim Filiatrault are recognized for their outstanding leadership abilities and for representing the seven habits. The students are nominated by their fellow students and selected by a committee to receive the award. Staff and student council at Sandy Creek Elementary were inspired to donate to Golisano Children’s Hospital after learning of Lynn Dumas’ generosity when she used the money she had raised to buy gifts for patients at the hospital.
