Sandy Creek Varsity Girls’ Volleyball Section III Champions

The Sandy Creek Varsity Girls’ Volleyball team defeated Port Byron 3-0, on Feb. 17 to win the Section III Class C Championship. Earlier in the week the team had also won a close match against Tully, who had been the odds-on favorite to take the championship. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory takes the stage on March 9-10

Sandy Creek tops list for Oswego County graduation rate

An article at Syracuse.com showed the New York statewide average for graduation rates increased slightly to 80.2 percent as reported by the New York State Education Department. Leading the list for districts in Oswego County, was Sandy Creek Central School District with a graduation rate of 94%. The district also ranked tops in the lowest dropout rate in the county with 2%.
